Welcome

I'm really glad you visited. I bootstrapped my way into the salvage and
recycling business in the early 1980s. I began with building
deconstruction and scrap metals and then moved into electronics,
computer and telecommunications scrap where I learned to recover gold
and other precious metal, reuse items for alternative energy systems
and more. These articles tells my story and provide helpful resources.
My hope is that you will learn to prosper as I did and to avoid some of
the pitfalls that I didn't.

A Genuine Work At Home Business Opportunity

Recently I published the How to Make Money in the Home Based Salvage
and Recycling Business. It is the culmination of my experience in the
business. In it I describe my failures and how I turned that experience
into success. I also describe how I bootstrapped my business using
little or no cash.

What is the Home-Based Salvage and Recycling Business?

This business is about locating goods and materials that are of little
or no value to some and selling these items to those who need and value
them. Some material that you collect will be recycled for its raw
material content, but for the most part it will be reused. Most of the
folks that you get material from are in your own local area and,
likewise, most of those you will sell to will reside there as well. The
business can be a great way to help build your local economy as well as
your own income and quality of life.

Prosper Now and in the Future

When I began in the business in the 1980s the economy was going through
a bad time though not as bad as now. It was very difficult for our
family to get by. Things got so tough that we ended up living in a tent
in a campground - kids, cats and all. That's when I got into salvage
and recycling. In a short time it turned our world right-side-up. My
hope is that by sharing my story and experience I can help you and
yours prosper now and in the future.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
